Convention and Annual Meeting
The WOA Convention and Annual Meeting is the largest continuing education event offered by the WOA. Doctors can earn up to 24 hours of education throughout the event, which runs from Thursday afternoon to Sunday. In addition to classes, the event boasts over 50 exhibitors and hundreds of the top representatives in eye care.
Association affairs are also addressed at this conference with the annual business meeting, awards luncheon and presidents luncheon. The executive officers for the following year are also installed at the event.
2010 WOA Convention and Annual Meeting
The 2010 WOA Confnvention and Annunal Meeting will be held at the Marriott Madison West hotel in Middleton Thursday, September 23 through Sunday, September 26. There will be 22 hours of continuing education offered overed over the course of the four day event. Speakers include Drs. Joseph Sowka, Jim Thimons, Joseph Pizzimenti and Carolo Pelino. The convention also hosts an exhibit hall, Band Night, Membership Awards Luncheon, President's Luncheon and annual WOA Business Meeting.
