Spring Seminar

The 2010 Spring Seminar will be held Wednesday, April 14- Thursday, April 15 at the Hotel Sierra (formerly Regency Suites) in Green Bay, Wis. Education will begin at 8:00 a.m. on the 14th and will run until 3:00 p.m. on the 15th.

There will be 14 hours of COPE qualified education, including seven hours of posterior segment (PS), five hours of anterior segment (AS) and two hours glaucoma (GL). Attendees will also have access to an exhibit hall.

Speakers for this event will include:

1. Mark E. Wilkinson, O.D., FAAO, Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of Vision Rehabilitation Services in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Iowa's Carver College of Medicine.

2. Larry Alexander, O.D., Currently consultant to the digital imaging and ocular pharmaceutical industry. Formerly private practice and referral center and professor at UAB School of Optometry.

3. Maynard Pohl, O.D., Clinical Director at Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Bellevue, Wash.

Spring Seminar is the WOA's second largest continuing education event held in April each year. Members can earn up to 14 credits during the event, and have access to a wide-array of exhibitors.
